LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- An Omaha-based non-profit wants to ease the burden for breast cancer survivors going through treatment, or those in need of a little extra TLC this holiday season.
According to a press release, Project Pink’d is hosting their seventh annual Care to Share Thanksgiving event. On November 12th, breast cancer survivors will have the opportunity to connect with other survivors at The Post Event Center in Ralston and the Scarlet Hotel in Lincoln from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Survivors in Nebraska and Western Iowa can also receive a complimentary Thanksgiving meal by registering online. The non-profit says it will be delivered by volunteers on Sunday, November 19th. This program is made possible by donors and supporters.
