From the moment of diagnosis through end of life, our mission is to provide tools, resources and a strong network to strengthen and renew the mind, body and spirit of breast cancer survivors in Nebraska and Western Iowa.
We have a have a vision for each survivor in our community to thrive beyond their diagnosis, disease and treatment. As each survivor creates a thriving and purposeful future, our families and communities become stronger.
Our strategic plan was last updated in September 2023.
Highlights:
- Continue commitment to:
- At least 50% of programming dollars will be Helping Hand
- 80% of dollars spent will be community giveback through programming (rolling three year average)
- Financially target 10% annual revenue growth over next 5 years
- 16,000 annual survivor impacts by 2030
- Intentionally attract more diverse breast cancer survivors to our programming
- Intentionally increase percentage of Board members and Executive Advisory Council members who are breast cancer survivors and/or who are ethnically diverse
